It’s Peak Foliage Season in Vail Colorado

If you don’t live in Vail you don’t know what you’re missing.  The weather has been beautiful and the leaves are a brilliant yellow.  Weather you want to drive, hike, bike, dirt bike or ride horses you can get outstanding views of the entire valley.  The best drives, aside from just driving through on I-70, are the road up to Piney (north of Vail up Sandstone Road), Highway 6 & 24 to Leadville (continue to Independence Pass and go to Aspen for spectacular views).  If you like to bike head up Vail Mountain where you will find a plethora of trails, the higher you get the better the views.  Wherever you are in the Vail Valley the views are incredible at this time of year.
