Thursday, August 28, the Clayton Brothers Quintet and the Vail Jazz Foundation All-Stars will play in Lionshead from 6 to 8 p.m. Grammy winner John Clayton leads the extraordinary Clayton Brother Quintet, which is also comprised of his brother Jeff a saxophonist, Bill Cunliffe, on piano, Terrell Stafford, on trumpet, and Lewis Nash, the most highly recorded jazz drummer ever.
The Vail Jazz Foundation All-Stars are students of the Vail Jazz Workshop who have just complete a 10 day residency in Vail. These young musicians have been hand-selected from high school musicians from across the country to learn from the masters and then play in Vail.
