While most people associate Oktoberfest as actually occurring in October, in Beaver Creek Oktoberfest is happening over Labor Day weekend. The weather should be great and the views spectacular, setting a perfect backdrop for a festive weekend. Oom-pah-pah music, fantastic beer and food will be available from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. in Beaver Creek Village on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be an Oktoberfest Shuffle where participants can choose to walk or run a 5k or a 10k route.
