Vail Colorado is the Place to be for the Fourth of July

Fourth of July is more than a one day holiday in the Vail Valley. On July 3rd the Beaver Creek Rodeo is kicking off early. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the rodeo itself begins at 5:00 p.m., following the rodeo is live music, food and vendors will be available throughout. After the Rodeo enjoy a state-of-the-art fireworks display at Nottingham Lake in Avon, just a short walk away. The fireworks are slated to begin at 9:45 P.M.

  

On the Fourth of July the Vail Parade is one not to be missed. The parade includes local and distant talent and is a mainstay of the Vail community. Beginning at 10 a.m., the parade is a long one. Make sure you try to find a spot near the shade and look out for the squirt guns on the fire truck! Fireworks will take place at Gold Peak in Vail the evening of the Fourth, as well as in Beaver Creek.

Sunday the fifth make sure to hit the Farmers Market in Minturn. Selling a lot more than just food, the Minturn Market is one not to be missed. Sunday another Farmers Market appears in Vail. With live music, food, fun activities and a myriad of vendors, Sundays are great fun in Vail. Make the most of the Fourth of July holiday and spend time in Vail Colorado!
