2008 Beaver Creek Rodeo Series kicks off Thursday June 12

Summer in the Vail Valley means fun and nothing says fun more than the Beaver Creek Rodeo. Every Thursday from June 12 through August 21 the Beaver Creek Rodeo happens in Avon, Colorado, behind Chapel Square. The rodeo has a little of everything, roping, barrel racing, bronc riding and bull riding. There are also great activities for the whole family to participate in. Children can compete in mutton bustin’ or the calf scramble while adults can form groups of three and compete in the burro racing, (push, pull and drag.) On the exterior of the arena there is food, shopping, pony rides, face painting and a petting zoo.
